FAQ

What do I need to place a custom-sized order?

To get the best and fastest results, please email us with the exact specifications of your desired material. Include details such as the type of wood, lamella type, knots or knot-free, and the desired finish. Additionally, make sure to attach technical drawings with precise measurements.

However, if you’re unsure about the exact specifications or how to calculate the dimensions, feel free to send us a general inquiry. Our team will gladly assist you in finding the best solution for your project.

What is the difference between finger jointed lamellas and full stave lamellas?

Finger jointed lamella workpieces are glued both in width and length, joined lengthwise, while Full stave (continuous) lamella planks are glued only in width. A finger jointed lamella is less sensitive to deformation.

Do you provide samples before ordering?

Yes, we offer wood samples so you can check the quality, color, and texture before making a purchase. Samples are available for a small fee that covers shipping costs. However, if you proceed with an order, the cost of the samples will be deducted from the final purchase price. To request a sample, simply email us with the wood type and finish you’re interested in.

Can I order a specific wood finish or treatment?

Absolutely! We offer various finishing options, including oiling, varnishing, staining, and brushing. You can specify your preferred finish when placing an order. If you need a custom treatment, let us know, and we will find the best solution for your project.

How should I maintain my wooden products?

To ensure the longevity of your wooden products, regularly dust them with a soft cloth and use a mild, wood-friendly cleaner when necessary. Avoid excessive moisture and direct sunlight to prevent warping or fading. If your wood is oiled, reapply oil periodically to maintain its protection and appearance.
